Valentine’s Day. The day where chocolate and roses are a staple. If our other Valentine’s Day treat was a little too chocolaty for you, then this is the cocktail for you. A sparkling rosé drink is sure to be the classy, fun and bubbly drink to get the night started and enjoy with your dinner. Featuring our favorite Babe Rosé with bubbles, this drink is simple and easy to make. Pair it with a Gold and Ivy’s limited edition Flora candle set and you have set the perfect mood for a romantic dinner date. Gentle and soft notes of bergamot and cardamom with violets and sensual rosewood floating through the air and bubbly fruity notes from the cocktail will be just enough to drown out those first date jitters.
3 part sparkling rose – we like to use Babe Rose
1 part Belvoir Elderflower & Rose Lemonade
1/2 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon freeze-dried strawberry powder*
1. To make the rims, combine the strawberry powder and sugar on a small plate, and the honey on another small plate. Dip the rim of your glass into the honey, and then into the strawberry- sugar mixture.
2. In your rimmed glass, combine the rose and lemonade over ice. Gently stir & enjoy!
*If you can’t find freeze-dried strawberry powder, buy freeze-dried strawberries and blend them until a fine powder is formed.
